My background is in corporate finance, and more recently corporate sustainability, at Baringa, a consultancy working at the centre of the UK's energy transition.
Twenty-five years in that world taught me how to build something properly and how to account for its impact honestly. During this period we successfully renovated and sold several of our own properties, building invaluable experience 'ground up' in high quality residential craftmanship and finish.
At Heriot, I lead on the numbers and the sustainability commitments behind each build, the decisions that don't always show up in a photograph but shape everything else.

Before Heriot, I spent over a decade in a corporate career at Chevron Texaco, stepping back when our first daughter was born.
In the years since, I've founded and run my own business, and Nick and I have renovated and built eight homes of our own whilst raising three children, learning largely by doing the work ourselves. We value the difference between a house that looks finished and one that's actually well built.
When the opportunity came to turn that experience into a business, we took it. I lead on design and marketing at Heriot: the material choices, the interiors, and the way each project is presented to the people who'll eventually live in it.
